My afternoon workshops are designed for groups of up to 6 people and are aimed at reducing burnout, practicing mindfulness and building resilience. I use a three-step strategy in my workshops; these include education, awareness & prevention to practice mindfulness and self-awareness.

Meditation (Maori)
Mindfulness, influences, and ways to look after yourself
Afternoon tea which includes healthy snacks and a beverage
Workbooks with activities and a guide as to how the session is run
We talk about issues or barriers and strategies to combat this
Education
I educate my clients on what burnout is and what it can look like. Many clients are likely to have experienced this before but not known how to properly deal with it.

I give my clients the tools so that they can recognize the signs of burnout and take appropriate actions to ensure the symptoms don’t worsen and impact their lives/work.
Prevention
The final step I teach is how to prevent burnouts from happening altogether by putting steps in place to combat this in its early stages. This is tailored to the individuals personal values.
