Private Workshops

Small Group Workshops

My afternoon workshops are designed for groups of up to 6 people and are aimed at reducing burnout, practicing mindfulness and building resilience. I use a three-step strategy in my workshops; these include education, awareness & prevention to practice mindfulness and self-awareness.

Workshop Benefits

  • Integrate mindfulness into your life to increase presence and performance aligned with your personal value set.

  • Gain strategies to address stress triggers that get in the way of performing the way you’d like to live.

  • Strategies for personal accountability in self-care and ways to sustain them

What to Expect on the Day

  • 1. Welcome

You will be greeted upon your arrival with a karakia and hot towels with essential oils. If it’s a cold day, you’ll be welcomed by a roaring fire or if it’s a warm day, we’ll have a bit of our session in the garden.

  • 2. Introductions

We’ll then sit down, and go around the table to introduce ourselves and talk about the pillars of self-knowing

  • 3. Part 1: Identity & Self-care

We start with a guided meditation and mindfulness exercise. We then get into the workbook, which acts as a guide for our session. We talk about the pillars of building self-awareness and the barriers to self-care which includes two activities and a partner discussion.

  • 4. Break

We then take a brief pause for afternoon tea, which is provided and includes an array of vegetables, hummus, crackers and homemade baked goods.

  • 5. Part 2: Truth and Values

We then define the values that define us as individuals. We complete another workbook activity and have a group discussion on these values.

  • 6. Part 3: Your Decisions and Clarity

It is then time for our final group activity and workbook activity. We define our bull’s eye plan and then have a closing Karakia

Education

I educate my clients on what burnout is and what it can look like. Many clients are likely to have experienced this before but not known how to properly deal with it.

Workshop Benefits

Identification

I give my clients the tools so that they can recognize the signs of burnout and take appropriate actions to ensure the symptoms don’t worsen and impact their lives/work.

Prevention

The final step I teach is how to prevent burnouts from happening altogether by putting steps in place to combat this in its early stages. This is tailored to the individuals personal values.
